One Night of Queen is the tribute show of all shows, formed in 2000 by Glasgow native Gary Mullen after winning a record number of votes on ITV’s (the biggest commercial television network in the UK) “Stars In Their Eyes” for his impersonation of Freddie Mercury. Gary has been a lifelong Queen fan and always a keen singer – wowing audiences with his uncanny performances of Queen songs. Along with his band “The Works,” Gary delivers the look, the sound and the showmanship of what some consider the greatest live band of all time. The Newcastle Evening Chronicle raved that “Mullen’s vocal range is impressive, no unbelievable, to say the least.”

In September 2005 the show was invited to perform at the BBC's 'Proms in the Park' event in Hyde Park, London, alongside Andrea Bocelli, G4 and Simply Red. Being described as 'the highlight of the day' and receiving rapturous applause from 45,000 fans, One Night of Queen's reputation was cemented as being 'much more than a tribute'. Gary Mullen is Freddie Mercury and he will rock you!
