Sunrise Theatre Suspends Summer Events
From your association with us over the years, you are aware the Sunrise Theatre depends on ticket sales revenue as well as your generous contributions to operate the Theatre and to be here for you and our community…now and in the future.
As a result of COVID-19 precautions, the Sunrise Theatre is suspending all currently scheduled performances and events on the Main Stage through August 31. These ticket revenues which support the programming and maintain the operations of your performing arts center will be lost to us. Over the coming weeks you will be notified of the rescheduled date for the performance you purchased. You will be provided the option to keep your tickets for the new date, receive a gift certificate for future purchases, donate those tickets back to the Sunrise Theatre for a 100% tax deductible donation which will help support the Theatre through this difficult time or a full refund.
On a positive note, your Sunrise Theatre Programming Team has been hard at work putting together an outstanding line-up of performances for the 2020/21 Season and beyond. I know we all look forward to the future when we can again come together to be entertained, inspired, moved and awed by the talent and beauty that live performance brings to our lives and hearts. I want to assure you that we will move forward for you, our community and our supporters, to continue to bring you the best in entertainment, cultural offerings and arts education programming for students of all ages. We need your help to do that so we ask that you continue to support the Sunrise Theatre and ALL of our local arts organizations who depend so heavily on that support. We all exist for you but can only survive with your support.
I thank you for your words of encouragement that have come to me by phone, email and letter. All of us at the Sunrise Theatre send wishes for good health and safety to you and your family and we look forward to a bright, 15th year Crystal Anniversary performance season.
