Come see the band that helped create Billy Joel’s formidable and unique sound!
The Lords of 52nd Street are the original members of Billy Joel’s band: Russell Javors (guitar), Liberty DeVito (drums) and Richie Cannata (saxophone). Together with the late Doug Stegmeyer (bass) they provided the “New York sound” for all of Billy Joel’s albums from Turnstiles (1976) through the Nylon Curtain (1982).
They helped sell more than 150 million records, including Top 10 hits like “Just the Way You Are,” “My Life,” “You May be Right,” “It’s Only Rock and Roll to Me,” “Tell Her About It,” “Uptown Girl” and “Innocent Man.” They reunited after being inducted into the Long Island Music Hall of Fame in 2014, and now New York’s favorite band are back to perform their legendary hits.
